In a statement released on Monday, al-Sharaa emphasized his confidence in Trump's ability to bring peace to the Middle East and restore stability to the region. "We are confident that Trump is the leader who can bring peace to the Middle East and restore stability to the region," al-Sharaa said. He called for creating a partnership between Syria and the United States.
