Her death was confirmed on November 28, 2024, following a week in critical condition. Throughout her illustrious career, Pinal starred in over 100 films, telenovelas, and TV series, gaining worldwide fame for her work with director Luis Buñuel in films like 'Simón del desierto,' 'Viridiana,' and 'El ángel exterminador.'
