Sep 22, 2024, 01:35 AM
Russia's latest test of the RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), also known as Satan II, ended in failure. The liquid-fueled missile detonated inside its silo at the Plesetsk test site in the Arkhangelsk region, leaving a massive crater and destroying the test site. This marks at least the fourth failed test of the RS-28 Sarmat. Satellite imagery confirmed the extent of the damage, showing a large crater and a fire at the launch site.
