Today marks one year since the brutal terrorist attack by Iran-backed Hamas on October 7, 2023, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people and the abduction of more than 250 hostages. The attack, which targeted Israeli civilians, included a massacre at the Nova Music Festival where hundreds were killed. The terrorists infiltrated Israel by air, sea, and land, committing atrocities such as rape, torture, and murder. Currently, 101 hostages remain in captivity. The attack also left over 3,400 wounded and has been described as the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Memorials and ceremonies are being held in Israel and around the world to remember the victims and call for the release of the remaining hostages. Additionally, the conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 41,000 Palestinians in Gaza.
