North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has overseen the delivery of 250 new tactical ballistic missile launchers to the country's troops, state media KCNA reported. The deployment ceremony, which took place with Kim's participation, saw the missile systems handed over to frontline units stationed along the South Korean border. These launchers, identified as Hwasong-11D, are capable of launching short-range ballistic missiles with a range of over 200 km and are designed to carry 4.5-ton warheads. Kim emphasized that this move is part of North Korea's strategy to enhance its nuclear readiness and respond to any challenges. The new nuclear-capable missile systems are also seen as a significant boost to North Korea's military capabilities, potentially targeting South Korean and US bases in the region.
