NASA has confirmed that there is no emergency situation aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The audio, which depicted astronauts being treated for decompression sickness, led to widespread speculation and alarm on social media. NASA clarified that the audio was from a ground-based medical drill simulation audio channel and not an actual emergency involving the crew of Expedition 71.
