VisitJaguars Fire Head Coach Doug Pederson After 3 Seasons on Black Monday
Jan 6, 2025, 01:26 PM
The Jacksonville Jaguars have fired head coach Doug Pederson after three seasons with the team, during which he accumulated a 22-29 record, including 18 losses in the last 23 games and a 4-13 record this season. Pederson, who previously led the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl victory, won one playoff game during his tenure in Jacksonville. Jaguars owner Shad Khan announced the decision on Black Monday, expressing respect for Pederson and noting the search for a new head coach to lead the team forward. The Jaguars are looking for a coach who can help develop quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
