Israeli commando forces have entered Syria and arrested a Syrian individual, Ali Soleiman al-Assi, who was working for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The operation took place in the southern Syrian town of Saida, in the Daraa governorate. According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), al-Assi was involved in an Iranian terror network and was responsible for gathering intelligence on IDF troops.
