Iran Vows Revenge on Israel for October Attacks, Says Advisor to Supreme Leader Khamenei

Iranian officials, including the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, and Ali Larijani, an advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, have announced that Iran is preparing to respond to Israel for recent attacks. Major General Salami vowed revenge on Israel, stating, "Our people can be sure, we will definitely take our revenge against Israel," and predicted its destruction if the ongoing conflict in Gaza and Lebanon continues. Larijani told the Tasnim News Agency that Iranian military officials are studying various options for retaliation against Israel's October 25-26 attack on Iranian military targets, emphasizing the need for "precision and secrecy" in planning. He noted that Iran has not yet responded to these strikes. The statements signal an escalation in tensions between Iran and Israel, as Iranian leadership indicates plans to retaliate for perceived aggressions.
