Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian held an emergency meeting with military leaders following Friday night's Israeli attack on Tehran. In his first reaction, Pezeshkian asserted that Iran would respond fearlessly and wisely to any act of folly targeting their country. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei attended an emergency meeting of the Supreme National Security Council, where damage from the Israeli attack was presented. Khamenei stated that Iranian officials should determine how best to demonstrate Iran's power to Israel, emphasizing that the recent Israeli strikes should neither be exaggerated nor underestimated. He remarked that 'Israel made a mistake in its calculations,' refraining from calling for immediate retaliation and suggesting a cautious approach.
