Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has acknowledged that Iran sent missiles to Russia with a range of less than 250 kilometers. However, Araghchi claimed these were not ballistic missiles. This statement was made during his visit to New York and was reported by the Wall Street Journal, citing a senior EU official. Contradicting this, Araghchi later denied the reports, asserting that Iran has not provided ballistic missiles to Russia. He criticized European officials, suggesting they were using this narrative to justify their submission to Israeli pressure. Araghchi also denied confirming the transfer of 'short-range rockets' during a meeting with the European Union’s foreign policy chief.
