VisitFormer Samburu Governor Lenolkulal Convicted in Ksh.84 Million Corruption Case

Former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal has been convicted by the Anti-Corruption Court for corruptly receiving over Sh83 million, in a case involving Ksh.84 million, from the county government. The court found that Lenolkulal used businessman Hesbon Ndathi as a proxy to engage in business with the county, which he led, constituting a conflict of interest. Lenolkulal, along with ten co-accused, was found guilty of the unlawful acquisition of public property through the supply of fuel and oil products. The court has denied him bail following the conviction.
