An American F-35 fighter jet crashed during takeoff at Albuquerque International Sunport in New Mexico, causing a huge explosion. The incident occurred on the south side of the airport, near Kirtland Air Force Base. The pilot, who was the only person on board, successfully ejected and was conscious when transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene.
