VisitExplosions Reported in Occupied Luhansk Amid Speculation of Ukrainian Missile Strike on Military Base
Aug 4, 2024, 01:34 PM
A series of powerful explosions have been reported in occupied Luhansk, a region in eastern Ukraine currently controlled by Russian forces. Initial reports suggest that the explosions occurred at a Russian military base. Locals reported missile strikes, and some sources speculate that Ukrainian forces used Storm Shadow missiles in the attack, although this has not been confirmed. Additionally, it is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 12 Western-made missiles, including eight ATACMS and four Storm Shadows, at Luhansk. Air defense forces managed to shoot down four of these missiles before they reached their target.
