Elon Musk joined President-elect Donald Trump on stage at the "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" on inauguration eve, January 19, 2025, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Accompanied by his son, Lil X, who enthusiastically followed him onto the stage, Musk expressed his support for Trump. He stated, "We're looking forward to making a lot of changes, and this victory is the start, really. What matters going forward is to actually make significant changes, cement those changes, and set the foundation for America to be strong for centuries and make America great again." Musk is set to head the newly established Department of Government Efficiency under the incoming Trump administration.
