A massive fire has devastated the Marywilska 44 shopping center in Warsaw, Poland, affecting over 80% of the complex and causing the roof to partially collapse. The shopping center, one of the largest in Warsaw, housed more than 1,400 stores and services. Emergency services have managed to bring the fire under control, but complete extinguishment is expected to take several more hours. Residents nearby have been advised to stay indoors and keep windows closed due to potential air quality issues from a blanket of thick smoke.
