Nick Begich, a Republican, has won the U.S. House election in Alaska's at-large congressional district, unseating Democratic Congresswoman Mary Peltola. This victory flips the hotly contested Alaska House seat from Democratic to Republican control. Decision Desk HQ projected Begich's win at 10:54am ET. With this GOP flip, Republicans now hold 220 seats in the U.S. House and are predicted to reach a final count of 221 seats, marking a net gain of one seat.
