North Korea Finds Crashed South Korean Drone in Pyongyang, Threatens War Over Future Incursions
Oct 19, 2024, 05:05 AM
North Korea announced that it has discovered the remains of a South Korean military drone in its capital, Pyongyang, specifically in the Hyongjesan district. The drone, which allegedly crashed on October 13, was identified as being similar to one displayed during South Korea's Armed Forces Day parade earlier this month. North Korea released photos of the drone's remains, and analysts confirmed that it resembled South Korean military drones. Authorities believe the drone may have been deployed to scatter propaganda leaflets over the capital. South Korea's government declined to comment on the incident. In response, North Korea has warned that any further incursions would be regarded as a declaration of war, promising an immediate retaliatory attack if its territorial land, air, or waters are violated.
