On Wednesday evening, January 9, 2025, a new brush fire erupted in the Hollywood Hills near the Hollywood sign and Runyon Canyon. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the blaze started around 5:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Solar Drive.
