Jan 3, 2025, 03:09 AM
Jack Danaher Molloy, a 24-year-old dual US-Irish citizen and former US Army soldier from Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, has been indicted on charges of attempting to support Hezbollah, a foreign terrorist organization, and making false statements to the FBI. Molloy traveled to Lebanon and Syria in 2024 with the intent to join Hezbollah but was told the timing was not right. Upon returning to the US, he continued his efforts to join the group, including online communications with individuals in Lebanon. Molloy also expressed antisemitic views and promoted violence against Jews, using the username 'KIKEKILLER313' on social media. He was arrested in Chicago and faces up to 20 years in prison for the material support charge and up to eight years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the false statement charges. Additionally, while residing in Upper St. Clair, Molloy visited a website detailing the incarceration location of Robert Bowers, the perpetrator of the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue shooting.
