Vice President Kamala Harris's Los Angeles neighborhood in Brentwood was ordered to evacuate due to wildfires raging across Southern California. The evacuation order was issued on Tuesday night, and no one was in Harris's home at the time, according to her spokesperson Ernie Apreza. The fires, driven by Santa Ana winds, have caused significant damage, destroying over 1,000 structures and claiming at least two lives. The Palisades Fire, one of several fires burning in the area, has affected 30,000 residents and prompted widespread evacuations. Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, own a home in Brentwood, which they have maintained since moving to Washington, D.C.
