Biden Announces Great-Grandchild's Birth Amid Devastating Los Angeles Wildfires
Jan 8, 2025, 07:40 PM
President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he has become a great-grandfather with the birth of his eldest granddaughter Naomi Biden's first child at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following Naomi's c-section, Biden and First Lady Jill Biden visited her in the hospital. The President shared the news during a briefing on the devastating wildfires that have consumed parts of Los Angeles County, destroying more than 1,000 homes and businesses and displacing tens of thousands. After receiving updates on the fires, Biden said, 'The good news is, I'm a great-grandfather as of today.'
