The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the attack, which was reportedly carried out using kamikaze drones. The oil depot, the largest in Crimea for the transshipment of oil products, supplies fuel for the Russian military. Local residents reported hearing explosions prior to the fire. The attack has led to a municipal-level emergency, with local authorities confirming explosions and ongoing fires at the facility, and two streets have been closed due to the incident. Previous attacks on this facility had prompted the installation of air defense units, including Pantsir and S-300 systems, which failed to prevent the recent strike.
