Daniel Khalife Pleads Guilty to Four-Day Escape from Wandsworth Prison

Daniel Khalife, a former soldier accused of spying for Iran, has pleaded guilty to escaping from Wandsworth Prison. Khalife admitted to escaping under a food catering truck and going on the run for four days while awaiting trial in September 2023. This plea was made part way through his trial at Woolwich Crown Court. Khalife continues to deny all other charges against him.
