Two Murder Inmates Escape Mississippi Jail Ceiling, Captured After Manhunt
Jul 6, 2024, 12:40 PM
Two inmates, Tyrekennel Collins, 24, and Dezarrious Johnson, 18, who were being held on murder charges, escaped from the Claiborne County Detention Center in Mississippi early Friday morning around 2 am. The suspects, considered armed and dangerous, broke out by climbing through the ceiling. A manhunt was launched immediately, and the suspects were captured after a day-and-a-half search. The escape and subsequent capture have raised concerns about security measures at the detention center.
