During a counterterrorism operation in the Tulkarm camp area of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, an explosive device struck a 'David' armored personnel carrier, resulting in moderate injuries to Colonel Ayoob Kiyof, the commander of the Menashe Brigade. Brigadier General Yaki Dolf, the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, was also in the vehicle at the time of the explosion but was not reported injured. The Israeli military confirmed the incident and stated that Colonel Kiyof was evacuated for medical treatment, with his family being notified.
