NetEase Games has announced 'Destiny: Rising,' a new mobile RPG shooter set in Bungie's Destiny universe. The game is set in an alternate timeline before the existence of Guardians and features both first and third-person perspectives. It will include 6-player co-op strikes, PVE/PVP modes, and a campaign. A closed alpha test is scheduled to begin on November 1st. 'Destiny: Rising' is a free-to-play game and represents a significant expansion of the Destiny universe into the mobile gaming space. Bungie is providing oversight and approvals for the project. The game is licensed from Bungie, and the announcement trailer and first images have been released.
