VisitMango Founder Isak Andic Dies at 71 After 150-Meter Fall Near Salnitre Caves

Isak Andic, the founder and president of Spanish fashion chain Mango, died on Saturday at the age of 71 after a mountain accident near Barcelona. During a family excursion with his son near the Salnitre caves in Collbató, Catalonia, he fell into a ravine approximately 150 meters deep. Andic, an Istanbul-born businessman holding Turkish-Spanish nationality, was one of Spain's wealthiest individuals. He was a pioneer in European fashion, having built Mango into an international retail giant with nearly 2,800 stores worldwide.
