Russian forces have intensified their aerial assault on Ukraine, launching a series of drone and missile strikes targeting the country's energy infrastructure and defense facilities. Over the past week, Russia has deployed approximately 500 guided bombs, nearly 660 attack drones, and around 120 missiles, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. These attacks have resulted in significant damage to power plants, with Ukrenergo reporting that Russia launched 211 missiles and 187 strike UAVs in the last two major attacks. The strikes have not only affected Ukraine's energy grid but have also led to civilian casualties, with 11 people killed and 51 injured in the past day. The latest overnight air strike on Kyiv involved attack drones launched from Russian cities like Kursk, Orel, and Bryansk. Zelenskyy noted, 'No country in the world has faced such daily attacks for so long.'
