Trump Campaign Staffer Luke Meyer Fired in Pennsylvania for White Nationalist Views
Nov 5, 2024, 02:56 AM
Luke Meyer, the 24-year-old regional field director for the Trump campaign in Western Pennsylvania, was fired on Friday after it was revealed he held white nationalist views. Meyer, who used the online alias Alberto Barbarossa, co-hosted a podcast with Richard Spencer, organizer of the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Pennsylvania GOP terminated Meyer after learning about his views from a report by Politico. Meyer had worked for the campaign for five months. Researcher Amanda Moore uncovered Meyer's hidden online identity. Meyer's dismissal comes just days before the 2024 US Presidential Election.
