Authorities are investigating a terror attack that occurred on New Year's Day in New Orleans, carried out by an American citizen identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar, born in Texas and a former Army serviceman. Before the attack, Jabbar made recordings while driving from Texas to Louisiana, expressing his desire to kill and stating he was inspired by ISIS.
