Putin Signs Law in Moscow Banning Adoption by Citizens of Countries Allowing Gender Transition or Sex Change

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law banning the adoption of Russian children by citizens of countries that allow gender transition or sex change. The law affects at least 15 countries, including Australia, Canada, and several in Europe. Moscow has also introduced another law, signed by Putin, imposing fines ranging from $4,000 to $50,800 for promoting the 'childfree' ideology as propaganda in Russia through the Internet, media, films, or advertisements.
