IDF Dismantles Hezbollah Weapons Caches and Tunnel by Kfir Brigade in Southern Lebanon
Nov 17, 2024, 11:00 AM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their operations in southern Lebanon, focusing on dismantling Hezbollah's military capabilities. Recent intelligence-based raids have led to the discovery of significant weapons caches and an underground tunnel used for storing munitions. Notably, IDF soldiers uncovered a tunnel from which Hezbollah fired projectiles into northern Israel. The Kfir Brigade's Haruv reconnaissance unit, operating under the Alon Reserve Brigade, played a crucial role in locating and demolishing these facilities. Footage released by the IDF shows combat engineers destroying the weapons cache and tunnel, which contained a variety of armaments, ammunition, and even a motorcycle. Additionally, the IDF has reported the capture of another Hezbollah weapons warehouse, further underscoring the ongoing military efforts in the region.
