Trump Claimed CrowdStrike Hid DNC Servers in Ukraine Amid Democrat Email Leak Scandal
Jul 20, 2024, 12:32 PM
In 2019, then-President Donald Trump claimed that cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike was hiding Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers in Ukraine. Trump alleged that Hillary Clinton and the Democrats were involved in this action and that the server had information related to Ukraine. The DNC had refused to let the FBI examine the servers, instead giving them to CrowdStrike. Trump also asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the company during a notable phone call, which became a focal point in the impeachment proceedings against him. CrowdStrike was also central to the Democrat email leak scandal.
