The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced imminent strikes against financial institutions linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon. The primary targets include branches of Al-Qard Al-Hassan, an organization widely recognized as Hezbollah’s financial arm. The IDF has issued warnings to residents of Beirut and other areas in Lebanon to evacuate locations associated with Hezbollah’s economic activities. These strikes are part of a new phase in Israel’s ongoing conflict with Hezbollah, aiming to cripple the group's economic strongholds. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari noted that dozens of projectiles have been fired at northern Israel in the past 24 hours.
