VisitComcast Reports Data Breach Affecting 5 Million Records at FBCS, Impacting Quarter Million Subscribers

Comcast has reported a significant data breach involving more than 5 million records due to a ransomware attack. The breach, which affected FBCS, a debt collector associated with Comcast, resulted in the theft of data from about a quarter of a million Comcast subscribers. The cable giant confirmed that the attack was indeed ransomware.
