South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun has offered his resignation and apologized to citizens on Wednesday following involvement in the aborted attempt to impose martial law, according to reports from Yonhap News Agency and other local media. Kim, who reportedly proposed the introduction of martial law, stated, 'I apologize for causing public confusion about martial law.
