A mass shooting occurred at a funeral home in Towson, Maryland, on Tuesday evening, resulting in one person dead and nine others injured. The incident took place around 7:15 p.m. on Loch Raven Boulevard, near the Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral and Cremation Services. Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough reported that a car had flipped and was on fire at the scene, with multiple victims found. The shooting is believed to have been targeted, with the individuals involved knowing each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Baltimore County Fire Department also responded to the scene. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski described the event as a shocking tragedy, emphasizing its rarity in the area.
