A mass shooting occurred at Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral and Cremation Services in Towson, Maryland, resulting in one person dead and nine others injured. The incident took place around 7:15 p.m. on the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, where a vehicle crashed and caught fire. Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough confirmed the details during a press conference, stating that the shooting appeared to be intentional and targeted, with no ongoing threat to the public. Evidence of multiple gunshots and shell casings was found at the scene. The Baltimore County Fire Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were also involved in the response. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski described the event as a shocking tragedy, emphasizing its rarity in the area.
