Unitree Launches G1 Humanoid Robot at $12,500-$16,000, 90% Cheaper Than Predecessor

Unitree Robotics has launched a new humanoid robot, the G1, priced between $12,500 and $16,000, marking a 90% price reduction from its predecessor, the H1, which was priced at approximately $150,000. The G1 features 23 to 43 joints, offering enhanced movement capabilities, and is equipped with dexterous, anthropomorphic hands that include two fingers and a thumb with force control, allowing for precise manipulation of objects. This model is aimed at sports and physical tasks, boasting advanced AI features such as imitation and reinforcement learning.
