Sage, a miniature poodle from Houston, Texas, won Best in Show at the 2024 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The event, held on Tuesday night, marked the 148th annual competition. Sage, an all-black poodle, outshone six other finalists to clinch the top prize. Mercedes, a German Shepherd handled by previous winner Kent Boyles, secured second place. Sage's breeder and handler, Kaz Hosaka, expressed immense joy, noting it was his 45th and final Westminster Show. Sage also won the Non-Sporting Group.
