Official announcement from NLRB or Station Casinos
NLRB Orders Station Casinos, Red Rock Resorts to Bargain with Union After 2019 Vote Violations
Jun 18, 2024, 09:29 PM
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has ordered Station Casinos, a Las Vegas casino operator, to recognize and bargain with the Culinary Union. This decision comes after the NLRB found that Station Casinos and its parent company, Red Rock Resorts, engaged in 'egregious and pervasive unlawful conduct' that tainted a 2019 union election. Despite workers voting 627-534 against joining the union, the NLRB ruled that the company's actions, including offering benefits such as free family healthcare and improved 401(k) plans to dissuade union support, violated national labor laws.
