Miami's Grant DuBose Hospitalized After Illegal Hit by Texans' Calen Bullock; In Stable Condition
Dec 15, 2024, 08:20 PM
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose was carted off the field after suffering a head injury during a game against the Houston Texans. The injury occurred in the third quarter when DuBose took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Texans safety Calen Bullock, who was penalized for the illegal hit. Medical personnel immediately attended to DuBose, cutting off his jersey and facemask, and he was placed on a stretcher and given oxygen before being taken off the field after approximately 11 minutes. Players from both teams gathered around in concern, with many kneeling and praying as the stadium fell silent and the game was delayed. DuBose had just been activated off injured reserve this week. He was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and is reported to be in stable condition.
