Nov 11, 2024, 04:23 AM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that a ballistic missile launched from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis was intercepted by Israel's air defenses. The missile, aimed at the IDF's Nahal Sorek base in central Israel, triggered rocket sirens in central Israel, including near Jerusalem, the Judean Foothills, Shfelat Yehuda, Yehuda, and Lakhish. The interception was carried out by the 'Arrow-3' Anti-Ballistic Missile System outside of Israeli airspace. Shrapnel from the interceptor was noted following the incident.
