Before the attack, Jabbar made recordings while driving from Texas to Louisiana, expressing his desire to kill and stating he was inspired by ISIS. He initially planned to kill his family but decided to join ISIS instead. President Joe Biden confirmed that the FBI is leading the investigation and assessing whether there's an ongoing threat. An ISIS flag was reportedly found in the suspect's vehicle.
