Paramount Pictures is developing 'Sonic the Hedgehog 4,' with plans for a spring 2027 release. This announcement comes ahead of the theatrical debut of 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3,' which is expected to generate between $55 million and $60 million at the box office from 3,800 North American theaters. The first two films in the family-friendly franchise have collectively grossed over $725 million globally.
