Bomb Threat Hoaxes at Delhi's IGI Airport Terminal-3, GTB, Dada Dev, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospitals
May 12, 2024, 01:17 PM
On May 12, 2024, several hospitals including GTB Hospital, Dada Dev Hospital, and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, along with the Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal-3 in Delhi, received bomb threat emails, leading to extensive search operations. The threats, which were later deemed hoaxes, prompted responses from multiple emergency services including bomb disposal squads. The Delhi Fire Service confirmed the receipt of these threats and coordinated the response. This incident follows a similar pattern of threats sent to Delhi schools earlier in the week, which were also identified as hoaxes. Authorities are investigating the source of these threats, which has been traced back to a domain in Europe previously used in similar hoaxes in Bengaluru.
