Delhi Court Summons CM Kejriwal in Excise Policy Case, Sets September 11 for Document Supply
Sep 3, 2024, 08:40 AM
The Rouse Avenue court has issued summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other accused after taking cognizance of the fourth supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI in connection with the now-scrapped Excise Policy 2021-22. The court has listed the matter on September 11 for the supply of documents. Additionally, the court directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to supply all deficient documents in the Delhi Excise policy PMLA case. The court has listed this matter for September 6. AAP leader Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Sharma are among the accused in this case. The court also reserved its order on the ED's plea seeking 10-day custody of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in a money laundering case. The ED had previously conducted a search at the residence of one of the accused on October 10, 2022, related to a 2016 case.
