Border Guard Soldier Killed, Nine Injured in Shooting and Stabbing Attack in Beersheba

On Sunday, a combined shooting and stabbing attack occurred at the central bus station in Beersheba, southern Israel, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old female Border Guard soldier and injuries to at least nine others, including civilians. Two of the victims were stabbed, and several were in critical condition. The assailant, identified as a Palestinian resident of the Negev with Israeli citizenship, was shot and killed by security forces at the scene. Medics and paramedics from Magen David Adom provided on-site medical treatment before evacuating the injured to nearby hospitals. Israeli police have secured the perimeter and are investigating the incident, which has been classified as a terrorist attack.
