Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown Suffers Serious Right Knee Injury After Previous Torn ACL
Dec 10, 2024, 03:48 AM
Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown suffered a significant injury to his right knee during Monday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The injury occurred while Overshown was tackling Bengals running back Chase Brown and engaging with offensive guard Alex Cappa when another Bengals lineman fell on him. He was helped off the field by trainers, putting very little pressure on his legs, and was taken directly to the X-ray room. The team quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy described the injury as being of a 'serious nature' and said, 'It didn't look good.' Overshown missed his entire rookie season last year due to a torn ACL. Team owner Jerry Jones expressed significant concern regarding the injury.
